Burkina Faso: Blaise Compaore left the Ivory Coast to go to Morocco


The ousted president of Burkina Faso Blaise Compaore had left the Ivory Coast to go to Morocco with his family. After 27 years in power, the head of state had been forced to step down in front of the discontent of the people of Burkina Faso. After a short military transition, a transitional president, Michel Kafando, was appointed this weekend to handle routine business before the organization's short-term elections.
