British general: Ed Miliband promises to reduce the deficit and debt

"With me as Prime Minister, no interest will prevail over the interests of workers in this country."

The campaign of the British parliamentary enters its final stretch. It is time for the presentation of programs and professions of faith of the various candidates. This morning in Manchester, Ed Miliband defended his economic measures. The Labour leader said his opponents who accuse him of wanting to ruin the economy, '' I promise to the British people that everything in this program is funded. The deficit will be reduced each year. The accounts will be rebalanced and the national debt will decrease. With me as Prime Minister, no interest will prevail over the interests of workers in this country. This will be my task as prime minister. ''

For conservative David Cameron, Labour wants to 'return to the dark days of mess and debt.' ' Outgoing Prime Minister made, too, of the fight against the deficit its priority. But he believes it can achieve a balanced budget before his Labor opponent.

For its part, Nigel Farage, the leader of the populist party UKIP, emphasizes successive British governments errors, particularly on immigration. He argues for an exit from Britain to the European Union.

In a little over three weeks of the election, Conservative and Labour are still neck and neck. A recent survey published by The Sun puts the Labour lead with 36% of the vote, three points ahead of the formation of David Cameron. The Ukip Nigel Farage is credited with 13% of votes.
