Time for recount in Nigeria to the tightest of presidential history.
The two candidates, Goodluck Jonathan, the outgoing president, a southern Christian and Muhammadu Buhari, a Muslim from the north, are neck-and-neck.
According to preliminary official results, the opposition candidate is given the winner in ten states, President Jonathan in eight Etas and in the federal capital but the results of several southern states of Nigeria populous are still awaited.
"We hope that the results will come and there will be peace everywhere. There is a lot of tension until the results in Lagos. Some people do not go to work, "said one resident.
Protest marches were held Monday and a curfew was set for the night.
Boko Haram, which threatened to disrupt the vote especially in the north of the country was prevented.
