A gigantic dam to seal the cooperation between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan


A mammoth project that is indeed launched .. That of the Great Renaissance Dam on the Nile, and the building where the Heads of State of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia have agreed by signing a cooperation agreement.


If Egypt feared that the dam threatens its supply of irrigation water, quarrels between the three partners seem buried and the building, located in Ethiopian territory should be ready for 2017.

Grande hydroelectric dam Renaissance, built by an Italian company, will be the largest in Africa and can develop a power of 6,000 megawatts.
