Three New Yorkers accused of supporting EI

Two New Yorkers are accused of trying to go to Syria to join the Islamic State group. Third, is accused of having financed. Two Uzbek and Kazakh, aged 19 to 30, who were determined to carry out terrorist attacks on US soil if they do not reach their goals. This is certainly the opinion of the prosecutor, of course tempered by the lawyer for one of the accused.

"These are heavy-handed tactics. They did not even try to intervene, to speak, to understand. They just want to make a complaint, arrest, convict. Let me just remind you that the presumption of innocence is still in effect in the US, "insists Adam Perlmutter, lawyer Kazakh Akhror Saidakhmetov.

The youngest of the accused, Saidakhmetov, was arrested yesterday at JFK Airport as he attempted to visit Turkey. From there, he then planned to spend the Syrian border, according to the FBI.
