The search for possible survivors continue to Mexico after the violent gas explosion that destroyed half a maternity Thursday morning.

The provisional estimates reported at least three deaths, two infants and a nurse, and more than 70 injured. Many babies were however found alive under the rubble. One hundred people were inside the building at the time of the explosion.

The area emergency for newborns has been one of the most affected.

A few hours after the tragedy, the Mexican president visited the scene of the tragedy.

We are happy to have seen in healthy children. Some moms have some injuries, but overall they are fine. We also found that children were the ones unfortunately in critical condition, "said Enrique Pena Nieto.

A leak in a gas pipe truck that delivered the hospital at the time of the explosion, was the cause of it.

Three operators of the gas company, of which two were injured, are now heard by the police.
