Russia: Navalny sentenced to between three and a half years suspended sentence, his brother 3 and a half years in prison

Alexei Navalny Russian opponent was convicted for fraud, the opposition leader in the Kremlin was sentenced to three years and six months suspended sentence in a case of embezzlement at the expense of the Company's subsidiary French Yves Rocher.

His brother Oleg was sentenced to three and half years in prison, also convicted of embezzling money.

Advance surprise verdict is to bypass a large demonstration convened on 15 January original date of the verdict, two years after the wave of protests in January 2012.
