In Egypt, two people died last night in Cairo during protests to denounce the verdict against Hosni Mubarak.
This Saturday, the former president was cleared of murder charges of complicity. The Justice ruled that it was not he who had given the order to fire on the crowd that demanded his departure during the uprising in 2011.
This ruling has sparked shock and anger among those who, specifically, were mobilized there 4 years. In addition to Hosni Mubarak, seven senior security officials, including former Interior Minister, were acquitted. These verdicts were greeted with joy by the supporters of the former Rais.
Hosni Mubarak is now 86 years old. It remains for the time being in prison, having been convicted in another corruption case.
