Starbucks launches new Chestnut Praline Latte in the US, while we get Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate

Christmas is coming. We know that because the Starbucks red cups are on their way.

First up, we heard that the US was getting a new latte for winter – the Chestnut Praline Latte. However, when we realised it wasn’t coming to the UK, we were about to kick off.

But then news reached us that we’re getting our very own festive special – the Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate.

Stand down soldiers.

The Chestnut Praline Latte is a beaut though. Off the back of the success of the Pumpkin Spice Latte (the amber nectar of basic b*tches everywhere), this is the first new offering Starbucks has added to its holiday menu in the US for five years.

The latte’s flavoured with a shot of chestnut-praline syrup, and then topped with a dollop of whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs to serve.

On November 14, it will join other firm holiday favourites including the aforementioned Pumpkin Spice and the Gingerbread Latte.

But, don’t panic, the UK’s also getting a new addition to its ‘red cup’ stable.

Starbucks will shortly be launching the Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate in the UK, we’re told. It will, no doubt, sort any winter sniffles you might have.

All of which means, Christmas is coming.
